One day exploring seven beaches in southern Malang

Malang has many beaches located in the south of the city of Malang. These beaches are about 70 km from this city. The best mode of transportation for visiting the beaches near Malang is either car (mini-bus) or motorcycle. While route to the beaches, you can see many green hills with lovely vegetation.

Tamban Beach was the first beach we visited. This beach was beautiful and there were many fisherman’s boats out on the water gathering their day’s catch. Tamban has sand that continues for nearly 1 km.

Three Colours Beach wasthe second destination. This beach gets its name from the three different depths of water that change colour. This beach eventually turns into a mangrove conservation area.

Goa Cina Beach wasthe third beach. This beach was even more beautiful to experience than the previous two. The ocean waves were colliding, and it alsohad a small cave to explore. The view of the sunset was lovely.

On our way to Bajul Mati Beach, the fourth beach, we found a big bridge flanked by hills. Bajul Mati has big waves, soft sand, and a hill-like coral formation in the middle of the sea.

Ungapan Beach was the fifth beach, and the route to this beach also has a big bridge flanked by hills. This beach contains a big park, large waves, and very soft sand.

Balaikambang beach was the seventh and final beach we visited. Its shoreline is very long and large, and has big waves. There are three islands near the coast, and on one of these islands stands a magnificent temple, connected by a bridge to the beach.
