TRENDLINE ANALYSIS TO DETERMINE THE WSBP STOCK TRENDS

Abstract : This study aims to determine the direction of trends in WSBP stock issuers on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the listing year until 2017. The research method uses qualitative descriptive based on Ong’s theory of technical analysis. The analytical tool used is a trend line for WSBP issuers. Data collection techniques were conducted with document techniques and triangulation techniques, analyzed using data reduction techniques, data exposure, and data verification. The results of this study provide information on the direction of the WSBP trend that experienced an uptrend at the beginning of the listing year, then continued to experience a drastic decrease until mid-December 2017 then rebound at the end of December 2017. This research is recommended to continue until 2018 after closing the year and conducting more detailed research in minor trends.
