Marketing, Definition,Concept, and Strategy

in fact, we have been marketing since childhood, when we're wearing good clothes that other people notice us. That activity was part of the marketing.

Marketing is the information about a product to the customer. Marketing is part of the ministry. Marketing is part of selling goods. Marketing has a very broad definition.

If you want to sell a product, you should understand the concepts in marketing, so that products can be accepted by the market.

Marketing has several concepts: ( Kotler)

  1. Product concept (Customers prefer products with low price.)
  2. Production concept ( Customers love the quality of the product.
  3. Selling concept (advertisement make customers buy a product )
  4. Marketing concept (Customers easily get the product)
  5. Social Marketing concept.( Customers are proud of the product.)

Before selling a product, you have to understand about the marketing plan,  so that market segment can be effective.

Marketing plan consists of six steps:(Kotler)

  1. situational analysis
  2. Target
  3. Tactics
  4. budgets
  5. Control
Planning of marketing can be applied well, if you understand the policy strategy. Policy strategy that we often hear is a SWOT strategy ( Strength, weakness,, opportunity, Threat )

Remember :
opportunities, and threats are external environment factors, Strengths and weaknesses are internal environmental factors.
